Client Relations Executive

Position Overview

The role of the Marketing & Ecommerce Executive is to support all aspects of the department,

however it will have specific responsibility for working with the Head of Marketing to plan, manage

and deliver exhibitions and events throughout the Group, whether internally or externally.

Working alongside the Campaign, Social Media & Content and Digital Marketing Specialists, the role

will provide crucial support with producing marketing and event materials, setting up campaigns and

tracking their success, developing social media content and driving customer engagement.

Principal Responsibilities

• Use Campaign Monitor for distribution of email marketing campaigns, including data

processing, set-up of mailing lists, template design and copywriting

• Write, edit and proof marketing and event materials, including brochures, flyers, e-shots,

invitations, banner stands, etc.

• In collaboration with Social Media & Management and liaising with business stakeholders to

obtain briefs where required, design and send email communications (email newsletters,

emails, texts, client invitations, etc.)

• Assist Campaign Specialist with setting up direct mail campaigns; create mailing lists for email

marketing and track outcomes of campaigns

• Work with the Social Media & Content Specialist to support content generation for social

media channels

• Track and monitor the success of marketing campaigns

• Ensure all internally and externally used documentation is in-line with Group branding

guidelines and templates are kept up to date and distributed for use

• Assist the Campaign Specialist with any additional advertising or marketing campaigns as

required

• Assist in the development and maintenance of sales/promotional materials across on and

offline platforms for our products and services

• Utilise all available data including research and web/email metrics to optimise

communications and set targets for gauging success

• Provide reporting and recommendations based on data analysis to constantly improve the

effectiveness of client-facing materials

• Provide input to, and assist in driving department projects as required

• Create and maintain marketing procedures that relate directly to your role

• Responsible for event management, from researching, liaising with business stakeholders,

booking and communicating arrangements, through to on-the-day event management and

follow up ROI

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Essential:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a generalist marketing role

• Working knowledge of Campaign Monitor

• Exposure to social media, email campaigns and digital marketing

• Excellent written and verbal communicator with engaging interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with a number of departments

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently

• Demonstrable ability to plan, prioritise and adapt to changing requirements

• Ability to communicate and engage with stakeholders at all levels

• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) with at least an

intermediate level of Excel

Desirable:

• Working towards, or looking to start a relevant professional qualification

• Experience using project/process management tools, and creating project plans, including

statements of work, timing plans, and status reports for stakeholders

• Advanced knowledge of Excel (Macros, V-Lookups, advanced data manipulation, etc.)

Hours of Work

• Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch (Mon-Thurs) and 8.30am - 5.00pm with 30

minutes for lunch (Fri)
